Dr. Nyombayire Julien is a clinician with over 10 years of experience in the clinical development and investigation of therapeutics and vaccines against a range of infectious disease pathogens, including HIV and STIs, Ebola, SARS-CoV-2, and malaria. He has experience in the conduct of clinical trials in collaboration with pharmaceutical industries, non-governmental research organizations, and academia.

In addition, Dr. Julien has expertise in the management and conduct of large cohort epidemiological studies and nationwide public health service delivery programs supported by large grant portfolios. He is interested in building new partnerships in clinical research aimed at finding solutions to existing and emerging public health threats.
