The Goal Line
GLISTEN aims to strengthen the ability of researchers and institutions in the Global South to lead clinical trials that are locally relevant, ethically sound, and globally recognized. We aim to rebalance power in global health research and create more equitable outcomes.
Gaps leave Africans behind
The persistent gaps in global heath research cause African science and scientists to be left behind. These include limited access to funding, infrastructure, and platforms to share findings on equal footing with international peers. By bringing these challenges to light, the network aims to close the divide and ensure African researchers are leading contributors to global advances in health.
